Sensor system

The 3300 XL 8 mm eddy current sensor system consists of the following parts:

3300 XL 8mm probe

3300 XL extension cable

3300 XL front-end device

The output of the system is proportional to the voltage signal at the distance between the probe tip and the surface of the conductor being measured. It can measure not only static (displacement) but also dynamic (vibration). It is mainly used for vibration and displacement measurement of oil film bearing machinery, as well as key phase and speed measurement. The 3300 XL8mm system is our advanced eddy current sensor system, 100% of which conforms to the 670 standard (4th edition) established by the American Petroleum Institute (API) for such sensors. All 3300 XL 8mm eddy current sensor systems can meet the required performance standards, and the probes, extension cables and preambles are fully interchangeable, without the need for separate matching components or workbench calibration.

Each component of the 3300 XL 8mm sensor system is backward compatible and interchangeable with other 5 mm and 8 mm sensor system components of the non-XL 3300 series. For example, when there is not enough space to install 8mm probes, a 3300 5mm probe is usually used instead.
